I understand your feelings when your AirPods Pro falls into the water and starts creating a beeping sound, and suddenly, you become sad and irritated. If you don’t know why is my AirPods Pro beeping after getting wet, then don’t worry and be with me in this guide.

The same thing happened to me a short period ago, and this is how I have fixed my AirPods.

Stay with me till the end of this article, and you will know how to fix these!

What Can Be The Major Reasons For Beeping Sound In AirPods Pro After Getting Wet?

There are straightforward reasons for the beeping sound in your AirPods after getting wet.

This situation happens most of the time because AirPods fall into the water.

You must look below to puzzle out the two major reasons for the annoying beeping sound in AirPods Pro after getting wet.

  • Moisture in AirPods
  • Damage wires

Moisture in AirPods

When AirPods Pro create weird sounds after getting wet, it can be a chance that water has gone into your AirPods.

You did not dry your AirPods in a time, and water remains in the AirPods for so long that it is difficult to remove all water from them.

When you cannot dry water from AirPods immediately, the moisture will remain inside your AirPods, and this moisture is the reason for the squealing sound.

Damage Wires

It would be scary when you don’t dry your AirPods properly; moisture also exists in AirPods. So, there is a probability that internal wires are harmed by moisture.

These internal wires are so tiny and delicate that sometimes it is troublesome to save them from internal damage due to water.

If you don’t adopt a proper solution for the beeping sound after getting wet, you may have to replace it and buy a new one.

Step-By-Step Guide On How To Get My AirPods To Stop Beeping?

I understand the pesky beeping of AirPods makes you feel displeased.

But you should relax because I am here to help you find a key for this sound in AirPods.

You must stick to these different steps and instructions. I am going to discuss here three methods on how to get my AirPods to stop beeping.

Method 1. Use A Microfiber Cloth Or Lint-Free.

In this method, you have to implement the following instructions. These instructions and steps can be done in just 3 to 4 minutes.

When you have done these steps, you must check whether the beeping sound has stopped or not.

  • First of all, take your AirPods from the charging case
  • Pat on the AirPods and charge the case slowly to make water come out.
  • Ultimately, you must clean both AirPods and cases politely with the help of a microfiber cloth.

These microfiber or lint-free clothes are so soft and smooth that they will not generate any other issues for wireless devices.

It would be helpful for you if you used a dry cloth.

Method 2. Put AirPods In A Rice Bowl

This method may astonish you, but it is undoubtedly valuable for this trouble. Stay with me to puzzle out this query.

  • Firstly, you can take a bowl with rice.
  • After that, you take out AirPods from the charging case
  • Then you put AirPods in a rice bowl for one or two days

In the end, after one day, draw out your AirPods from the rice bowl, and if it is dry properly, put it again in the case and reset your AirPods.

Method 3. Water Reject Shortcut

If you have an iPhone, you will effortlessly wipe out water from the AirPods. Before you follow this step, you must ensure that the AirPods are connected to the iPhone.

  • For this, you go to your phone’s Google Chrome
  • Search water eject shortcut on it and follow up the first link
  • Click on the download; once you download it, select the option to get started
  • Then it will take a few seconds and ask for add a shortcut; click on it
  • Different options will come, but you will see in upfront water eject, tap on it.
  • Ultimately, click on the start & water ejection will start.

You can increase the levels from l to 3. These options will appear on your screen when you click on start. It’s up to you which option you will choose.

What Is The Water That Ejects AirPods?

This option is often used when your AirPods become wet after falling into the water.

It is the best feature that APPLE has launched because the company knows that AirPods are so sensitive that internal wires can be damaged if water goes inside AirPods.

Water ejects AirPods help to wipe out water.

When you add the water boot shortcut to your iPhone and start ejection, the speaker will vibrate for a few seconds, and the water will come outside.

Why Do My AirPods Keep Beeping And Pausing?

No doubt AirPods are suitable wireless devices, but users of these devices struggle with different issues like beeping and sudden pauses.

If you are depressed with this kind of headache, you must look through the following explanations to answer your query.

  • Indigent Bluetooth connection
  • Low battery
  • Muddy and damage

Indigent Bluetooth Connection

It would be an obstacle when your AirPods are paired with any smartphone but need proper reach of signals.

This scenario occurs when your AirPods have a weak Bluetooth connection.

For a reasonable connection, distance matters a lot; if there is too much space between your smartphone and AirPods, AirPods will not function appropriately and produce a beeping sound.

So, if you crave proper sound without any pause or beep, you must have a solid Bluetooth connection.

Low Battery

Sometimes, you focus on enjoying the music and videos irrespective of other things.

But when your AirPods start beeping, you get to know it is happening because of the low battery. If AirPods are not charged timely, it will pause.

This wireless device’s new features are launched to make it more useful for customers. But sometimes, these features also need to be fixed.

The ear detection feature is beneficial but, at the same time, consumes a lot of battery. If you want to save the battery of AirPods, then you can turn off this feature.

Muddy And Damage Airpods

If the speakers of your AirPods are muddy and dusty, they will not entertain you as you want.

If you don’t want any problem, keep it clean and away from dust.

Dust can make obstacles for you, and damaged and broken AirPods produce a beeping sound.

Conclusion:

Consequently, there can be many reasons for your AirPods Pro to beep after getting wet. But some of the most prone ones include damaged wires and water moisture.
